Cheri Stein of Plante Moran Financial Advisors Earns CIMA Designation

Grand Rapids, Mich. — Cheri Stein, an associate with Plante Moran Financial Advisors in Grand Rapids, recently earned her Certified Investment Management Analyst designation.
CIMA designation, which is sponsored by the Investment Management Consultants association, demonstrates in-depth knowledge of financial management issues, including asset allocation, ethics, due diligence, risk measurement, performance measurement and investment objectives. Stein, who is one of only 5,500 people nationwide to earn the CIMA designation, also passed an extensive examination at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
Stein is also a certified public accountant and certified financial planner. In her work with Plante & Moran Financial Advisors, she provides comprehensive financial planning and investment consulting to individuals and their families.
Stein joined PMFA in 1999. She holds a bachelors of arts degree from Taylor University in Upland, Ind. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Inforum West Michigan and the Investment Management Consultants Association.
