Christina Ferland, CPA, CFP®, CIMA®, Partner joined the firm in 1989 where she spent her first eight years in the tax department, specializing in taxation of individuals, trusts, and estates and businesses. Christina specializes in investment and wealth planning for high net worth individuals and their families. Her areas of expertise include personal financial planning, investment consulting, and income and estate tax planning.
Christina received her bachelor of science degree in accounting from Michigan State University. She is also certified as an investment management analyst by the Investment Management Consultants Association, which involved coursework and an examination taken at the Wharton School. Tina is one of only approximately 5,500 people nationwide to hold this prestigious designation. Her professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Investment Management Consultants Association.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
