 Timothy M. Wendt 

 

Tim Wendt, CFP®, CIMA®, Partner, joined Plante Moran Financial Advisors in 2000 following several years in the banking and brokerage industries. He provides high net worth individuals and their families with a wide range of services including personal financial planning, asset allocation, investment policy, and investment consulting. Tim was selected as one of Business Review – West Michigan’s “40 Business Leaders Under 40” for 2007.

Tim received his bachelor of science degree from Purdue University and his master of business administration in finance from Loyola University of Chicago. He is also certified as an investment management analyst by the Investment Management Consultants Association, which involved coursework and an examination taken at the Wharton School. Tim is one of only approximately 5,500 people nationwide to hold this prestigious designation. His professional affiliations include the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, the Financial Planning Association, the Financial Planning Association of Michigan, and the Investment Management Consultants Association.




Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
